The STR Christmas Book Sale

It’s going to be a very different kind of Christmas this year for many of us, so let’s banish the gloom by taking a hint from those who really know all about long winters. Why not go all Icelandic with a Jólabókaflóð?

On Christmas Eve, Icelanders give each other books as presents – a Yuletide flood of books – so that friends and family can spend the long cosy evenings of midwinter curled up with a good book. The STR Bookshop is a positive cornucopia of glorious stories of stages and performers past and present and we hereby announce a very special offer, just in time for Christmas.

The STR is offering 3 books for £20* and 5 books for £25*. Shipping costs are included for UK orders, and there is a £5 flat fee for Overseas orders.

So now is the time to treat yourself and your friends!

What about the very timely The Politics of the Pantomime? or the wonderful account of early film Bandits!, that includes a DVD so you can experience the silver screen from the comfort of your own home?

Browse the STR Bookshop here and pick out your books. NB weekend website glitches have been solved, but if you encounter any problems please let us know by email to membersinterests@str.org.uk

Click here to download the form and fill out your choices, and tell us how you have paid.
