The STR featured in The Stage Awards 2023

The Society for Theatre Research was announced last year as an official featured supporter of The Stage Awards 2023.

The Stage Awards are the highest profile awards celebrating excellence in British theatre across the whole of the UK. The awards recognise excellence in British theatre and will celebrate achievements in the theatre industry from December 2021 – November 2022.

The awards ceremony was held on Monday 30th January at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London. Our logo was featured across banners and coverage of the event, and an advertisement for the STR has been included in the digital and print edition of the paper published 2nd February (see below).

The Stage also personally thanked the STR, writing: ‘It means a lot to us to have supporters like you on board so we can create such important and celebratory events for our hard working industry.’
