I work on Joe Orton and lead the project ‘Joe Orton: 50 Years On’ at the University of Leicester. I have published on Orton Shakespeare, Orton and art, and Orton and music. In 2017 I co-curated two exhibtions: ‘What the Artist Saw: Art Inspired by the Life and Work of Joe Orton’ at the Museum of Contemporary Art, London, and New Walk Museum and Art Gallery, Leicester; ‘Crimes of Passion: The Story of Joe Orton’, National Justice Museum, Nottigham, which won a Special Commendation at the Nottighamshire Heritage Awards.
