This online talk will explore Edinburgh’s ‘Lost’ Empire Palace Theatre designed by renowned Theatre Architect Frank Matcham. They will delve into the archives, highlighting key finds and discuss Ice Cream at the Interval’s new exciting project. The talk will be lead by Ice Cream at the Interval’s Stuart Smith-Gordon.

The new project aims to capture the fragmented archive data sets that remain and unlock these using a combination of physical modelling and digital innovation to bring it back alive. The project will allow users to experience and explore the building in rich detail, creating a magical and enlightening experience. Hopefully it will preserve this building for future generations.

There will be time at the end to ask questions.
