PLATFORM is Royal Holloway’s bi-annual journal for research into theatre and the performing arts.  The latest edition ‘On Magic’ includes an essay by 2018 Research Award winner Eleanor Bloomfield on the dramatic magic of the Roman Catholic Mass in mediaeval churches, with reference to the York mystery plays.

The journal is now available to read online here, and the Editors invite interested persons to join them for the launch event for the new issue on 14 March, 6pm, at 11 Bedford Square, University of London, room 1-01, London WC1E 7HU

The event will include:
* Introduction to the issue by Dr Sophie Nield (RHUL)
* A Magical Performance by Dr Augusto Corrieri (University of Sussex)
* Plenty of food & drink

The launch event is a great opportunity to learn more about Platform and to grab a (colour) print copy of the new edition. All are welcome.
