STR President Timothy West, together with directors John Tillinger and Nikolai Foster, and actors Hayward Morse and the first ‘Geraldine,’ Julia Foster, take a look at the lasting impact of Orton’s What The Butler Saw and the contemporary issues it addresses, 50 years after the play premiered.

The panel will be chaired by STR member Emma Parker, whose article on Orton and his relevance today written for The Conversation can be read here.

The event is sponsored by the University of Leicester, for whom Emma has been running the Orton 50th anniversary project. For more information, click here.
