In the frozen Arctic wastelands, an expeditionary team of scientists become trapped. Tensions rise and relationships crumble: and then something appears, out of the ice….

Author Louise Welsh and Scottish composer Stuart MacRae’s fourth collaboration is brought to the stage by director Matthew Richardson and designer Samal Blak. A superb cast includes, former Scottish Opera Emerging Artist Jennifer France, Scottish soprano Jeni Bern and baritone Stephen Gadd. Scottish Opera music director Stuart Stratford conducts.
