Due to insuperable problems in storing the hard copies of our back catalogue, plus the ever-increasing costs and difficulties in sending them out by post, the STR has come with regret to the decision that it will stop selling hard copies of its backlist books and past Theatre Notebook issues by the end of November this year.

Although we are exploring other ways of making the books and copies of Theatre Notebook available, prospective buyers should buy now while stocks last, and before November 21.

To enhance this, we have increased the Members’ discount from today to 50% from 33%.

Please note, however, that we are continuing to publish both the annual book and the journal in hard copy, and subscribers will continue to receive these by post as usual, with adequate supplies retained for late renewals and to replace any lost copies.

So rush to the STR Bookshop now and stock up for Christmas or just for your own bookshelves!
