Harold Pinter: Histories and Legacies

19-21 September at the Workshop Theatre, University of Leeds.

All are welcome. The rate is £70 (or £35 for PGR students), and this includes lunches, an evening buffet, a wine reception and a ticket to Jeremy Goldstein’s Truth to Power Café.

A reduced rate of £60 is available to anyone who attended a previous conference run by the Pinter Legacies project.

The conference takes place in the Workshop Theatre at the University of Leeds from 19 to 21 September.

 

Plenary speaker: Vivienne Jabri, Professor of International Politics, Kings College London: ‘Pinter, the Political and the International’.

Special guest: Jamie Andrews, Head of Culture and Learning, British Library: ‘Archiving Harold Pinter’.

An actors’ workshop on Pinter’s dialogue by Harry Burton.

In conversation’ sessions with Jamie Lloyd (Pinter at the Pinter), Douglas Hodge and Nancy Meckler.

A Skype interview with Henry Woolf, last surviving member of the ‘Hackney gang’, and actor/director of the first performance of The Room, 1957.

A performance of the Truth to Power Café
