Scene: reflections on the life of Edward Gordon Craig

Seven invited Bristol artists and printmakers display new work inspired by the work of Edward Gordon Craig, alongside prints and archival materials from the Theatre Collection relating to his life and work. This exhibition reflects his extraordinary life and responds to the period of Craig’s work between 1898 and 1930 – not just to his designs but also his attitudes to Shakespeare, marionettes, ballet and dance. Free entry, Tuesday – Friday 9.30-5.00 (excluding 26 August – 13 September inclusive)
