The Real Britain

East 15 Acting School and the University of Essex have converted an old, huge church into a beautiful suite of studios and a theatre at the E15's second base in Southend on Sea. In order to celebrate the opening they are producing a special show/event using over two hundred actors, ten directors, ten designers, etc., on the theme of immigration/asylum/identity.

Alongside the main show is a series of connected events by other departments at the university. They are also attempting to webcast it live as an experiment.
