Maggie Collins
We are sorry to tell you that Margaret Collins (Maggie to most of us) died peacefully at her home in April. Maggie was a long-standing Committee member and arranged the Lecture Programme for twenty years or more; many of you will remember her friendliness, her indomitable spirit, and her beautiful voice.We held a lunch party on 8th July at Drury Lane (through the good offices of Mark Fox) for what would have been her eightieth birthday; it was masterfully organised by Barry Sheppard, and although it was the day after the London bombings, over sixty people attended.
