THIS EVENT HAS TAKEN PLACE
An inter-disciplinary day of lectures celebrating the life, work and legacy of the visionary theatre designer, Edward Gordon Craig.
Sir Michael Holroyd leads a host of speakers who will address Craig's legacy in the fields of the visual arts, architecture and the pedagogy and practice of theatre design. †
The STR is contributing to the cost of this day through its Craig Memorial Fund.† As a result any Society member may book a ticket at the concessionary rate of £5.00.† We have been asked to produce membership cards when collecting tickets on registration. I have explained that this may not always be possible, given the time of year ≠ this year's cards have probably been discarded and next year's probably not yet received† (they will go out earlier that same week).† Please, therefore, let me know if you book at the concessionary rate and I will provide the registration desk with a 'certified' list! †
Tickets £12 (£5 concessions, including STR membets)
To book, call 020 7942 2211 or visit www.vam.ac.uk/tickets †
The Lecture Day supports the exhibition Space and Light: Edward Gordon Craig, which will be on show in the V&A Theatre and Performance galleries from 11 September 2010 ≠ March 2011.† Attendees at the lecture day will receive an introduction to the exhibition from the curator.
